The School celebrated World Book Day on Friday March 4th. All the pupils and staff had a brilliant day of activities, literacy and fun. We had all the book characters arrive to the school gates in place of the children. There were some fabulous costumes and it was obvious a lot of effort went into them. We had our potato competition, with Mrs Brown and Miss Naan having the very difficult task of picking the winners. Soo much creativity and imagination went into them, so a big well done to all. A special thank you to our Literacy co-ordinator Miss Naan who organised a hunt for book titles using both numeracy and literacy clues. The pupils really enjoyed the task and worked especially well in teams.
